Ingredients

  • 1 c shortening
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking sod
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c chopped nuts
  • 1 12- ounce package chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs in a bowl with a hand mixer
  • Add dry ingredients and continue mixing
  • Add nuts and chocolate chips
  • Drop by spoonful onto a cookie sheet
  • Bake at 350* for 10 minutes
