CAKE INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Butter

1/4 Cup Cocoa

2 Cups Sugar

2 Eggs

1/2 Cup Sour Cream

1/2 Chopped Pecans

1 Cup Water

2 Cups Flour

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Vanilla

FROSTING INGREDIENTS

1/2 Cup Butter

1/4 Cup plus 2 Tbsp Milk

1/4 Cup Cocoa

1 tsp Vanilla

4 1/2 Cups Confectioners Sugar

CAKE DIRECTIONS

Combine butter, water and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat

Heat till butter melts

Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, soda, sour cream and vanilla and mix well

Pour into a 9 x 13 greased pan  

Bake @ 350 degrees for 20 minutes

FROSTING DIRECTIONS

Combine butter, cocoa and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil

Turn off heat 

Add vanilla and confectioners sugar and mix well with an electric hand held mixer

Pour over hot cake 

Sprinkle with pecans
