½ C heavy cream

2 TBSP sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla

½ C mascarpone chees at room temperature

¼ C espresso or strong coffee

2 tsp. Dark rum 

6 ladyfingers

1 ounce piece semisweet chocolate

Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Mix cream, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat till stiff peaks form
Beat in mascarpone
Combine espresso and rum in a shallow bowl
Break ladyfingers into thirds to make 18 pieces

To build each jar…

Dip 2 pieces of ladyfingers into coffee mixture
Place in the bottom of jar
Spoon a heaping TBSP of mascarpone mixture into jar
Grate a fine layer of chocolate over it 
Repeat layers again
Dust top with cocoa powder
Refrigerate at least 2 hours up to 2 day
